Synopsis

Who knew getting trapped with a stranger would change their lives forever?

Army Ranger Damon Knight loves serving in the military, but when he flies home for his cousin’s wedding, he’s torn between duty to his country and family. Then there’s the intriguing woman he met in the elevator. He’s eager to see her again, but she doesn’t make it easy.

Grace Rivera knew kissing a stranger was a dumb idea, but there was something about Damon. Now he wants her phone number, but Grace is leery. She’s been hurt before. Besides, he deploys in two weeks. It’s best to say goodbye now and not think about what could have been.

Then her soon-to-be sister-in-law introduces Damon as her cousin. Now, Grace is stuck in a small town with him, and he’s as charming outside the elevator as he was inside. And suddenly, two weeks together isn’t enough.

Can Grace take a chance on a long-distance relationship while caring for her sick mother? And when Damon comes home early with life-altering injuries, will he be able to build the life he dreamed of with Grace? With the odds stacked against them, will love be enough?
