Synopsis

She’s America’s First Daughter. He’s the stranger behind the wheel. And nothing about their road trip is going according to plan.

Twenty-two-year-old Ellie Hastings is tired of playing the role of the picture-perfect First Daughter. Between staged smiles, suffocating security, and a future she didn’t choose, Ellie is desperate for one thing: freedom. So when a diplomatic gala turns into the final straw, she pulls her royal best friend—the ever-charming Prince Oliver of England—into a daring escape.

Their getaway car? A catering van.

Their driver? A handsome, quietly amused waiter named Noah.

Their plan? Nonexistent.

What begins as an impulsive escape turns into a cross-country road trip packed with gas station snacks, unexpected detours, and a connection Ellie didn’t see coming. But the farther they get from the spotlight, the more Ellie has to face what she’s been dodging—her future, her feelings, and who she really wants to be when no one’s drafting her itinerary.
