Sun & Blood – Level 1. Moon & Ruin – Level 2. There is a “deep growl” but it’s a wolf shifter book and that just means the growl sounds deeper. I’m pretty sure I describe the growls as being “deep” even when they aren’t kissing.
When Stars & Promise comes out next year it will also be either level 1 or 2.
I think there is one use of “heck” when someone says “To heck with exposure!” There are no other swear words.
As far as triggers go – for Sun & Blood there is violence/fighting, bullying, death, and the main character is hit across the face by her father one time. Moon & Ruin has violence/fighting, death, poisoning, torture implied but not seen, and kidnapping.
The violence/fighting is almost always done in self-defense as the clan is fighting off bloodthirsty rogue wolven that are trying to take over/kill people.
