All Princess Twyla wants for her birthday is a box. Not a pillow, not a dress, and certainly nothing else that’s round. She wants a nice squared box with sharp edges so she can prove to both the king and her charming guard, Felix, that there’s no reason for her to fear them.

Now that Twyla is eighteen, she should finally be allowed to learn why the king insisted she grow up in a round tower with round furnishing. However, the king shows no interest in explaining himself to Twyla when he has other ambitions for her circular little world… Getting a box seems far less exciting when one learns they are already cornered.
