Who says the smart girl can’t get the quarterback?
When Dakota moves to a new high school, it doesn’t take long for three jerks to make her life miserable—complete with hallway mooing. Yes, actual barnyard sound effects. So classy.
But being smart has its advantages. She believes in the sweet, sweet power of calculated revenge and is already plotting their downfall (with spreadsheets, obviously).
In the meantime, she has to keep her mother from marrying the wrong man. The “wrong man” pretty much means any and all of them.
Then there’s the hot quarterback at school. She keeps running into him. And oh yeah, he likes the girl who might end up being Dakota’s stepsister.
That’s kind of a problem.
Dakota absolutely, definitely shouldn’t fall for the guy with the golden eyes, dangerous dimples, and inconvenient habit of being… nice.
He’s way out of her league.
Because quarterbacks don’t fall for nerd goddesses.
…Unless they’re smarter than they look.
