Synopsis

She had perfected the art of being invisible. Until he saw her.

Jane Everly knows there is safety in being overlooked. As a lady’s companion with no fortune and few prospects, she has learned to ask for little, expect less, and keep the woman she once was carefully hidden.

Gabriel Ashford never expected to become the Duke of Hawkesmoor. Then a fire took his entire family and left him the only one behind. Six months later, he is still trying to understand how a man goes on living when everyone he loved is gone.

Neither expects a summer house party to change anything. But Gabriel notices the woman everyone else overlooks, and Jane recognizes something in the grieving duke that others fail to see. What begins with quiet conversations becomes an unexpected friendship, and slowly, something neither believed they would ever have begins to feel possible.

A future.

But the past has not finished with them. Questions linger where there should have been answers, and the same hidden threads that have already touched the lives of those around them are beginning to pull tighter.

For Jane, remaining invisible may no longer be enough to keep her safe. For Gabriel, loving again means risking the one thing he has already learned he cannot bear to lose.

Because surviving is not the same thing as living.

Saving Lady Jane is a clean Christian Regency romance of grief, courage, faith, and unexpected love. Each Vows of the Heart romance tells a complete love story, while familiar characters and an unfolding mystery weave through the series.
