Synopsis

What happens when you say “I do” to the same person… twice? Not your typical love story!

Meet Piper:
Okay, here’s the scoop: I married my old study buddy out of necessity. But trust me, it’s not as scandalous as it sounds. See, Peter needed a wife to receive his dad’s inheritance, so I did what any friend would do, I said yes.

Enter Peter:
We’re talking a marriage on paper, folks. That’s all the guts I had to ask for. But if Piper had wanted more, I’d have handed her my heart, all the puppies in the world, and a truckload of chocolate. Instead, I paid off her med school debt as a surprise and hightailed it to a different country with my broken heart.

Back to Piper:
Here’s the not-so-great part. I somehow ended up pregnant (details of our wedding night are a bit fuzzy, but that’s another story). Peter’s mom despised me (still does). And when we parted ways, we left our baby with her over-the-top grandma. I told you, it’s complicated. But now Peter’s reaching out, and I’m starting to wonder…

Peter’s Turn:
Regrets? You bet! Turning forty hit me like a freight train, and I can’t let this chance slip through my fingers. I’ve reconnected with our daughter, and now it’s time to win Piper back. If only she weren’t engaged to another man…
