Synopsis

Sydney feels stuck.

Yes, she’s currently employed by some pretty cool people, working as a live-in nanny for the most adorable twins ever. And yes, they’re all headed overseas for a special vacation. But nannying was never her life’s goal. (Maybe just a fun side quest?) She’s always dreamed of being a teacher, like her mother, but her first foray into the education field after graduating was…not good. It left a few scars, inside and out. A second chance has come along, but is it really what she wants?

Nolan left the states to help procure specialty Italian products and ingredients for Vittoria, his family’s high-end Italian restaurant named after his beloved nonna. Did the move also put distance between him and the subject of a failed relationship? No comment. That’s all in the past. Maybe it’s time to look to the future. With is best friends coming over to celebrate their anniversary and his birthday, he’s hoping to climb out of his self-imposed social rut and stop being a grump. At least a little bit.
