On the language question above I think in Glendale (Book one of The Glendale Series) the FMC says “Oh my God” once or twice (before she gets saved). That’s the only instance of swearing in any of my books. Maybe that’s mild? (Is that considered a Biblical swear word?) Or none? (If not . . .)
I write more impactful and deep than light and quick, so there’s always a message in my books. Because of that, there’s always something to overcome. In my Mothers of Glendale Series there is infertility, emotional healing from a past abortion, miscarriage (book one), an emotional affair (book two), and cancer loss (book three). In the Mountain Redemption Series there is tragedy and grief (all three books) and domestic abuse (book three). All end in redemption and tell the story of how God worked it out, brought healing, deliverance, etc.
