The Marine has a DV and PTSD warning, as well as A History of Vampires – Legend & Lore. There is a scene in HOV where we find out a character has to choose to be raped or sacrifice her children, which rightly makes her snap (which is why she’s our mentally unstable heroic villainess). I don’t go into deep detail, but enough to get the picture. I try to write real world scenarios in which my characters find God through their heartaches.
