Oceans of Sand

By Jessica Flory

There are books you read…and then there are books that keep you up all night until you can finish them. This is one of those that I stayed up way too late because I could not put it down!

Jessica nailed it with her debut novel! The world she created, the magic that sustains it, and the characters we follow are all just amazing! I never once thought to myself “this can’t be real” because everything was described so well that I was just there along the characters on this adventure of a lifetime with them.

Norah is such a beautiful character with such strength and resilience. I love the friendship between her and Zodock! They are so sweet with each other and I love that they have such a great camaraderie and devotion to each other outside of the feeling that emerge as you read the book. Zodock is such a protective hero who absolutely wants to keep Norah safe at all costs. I loved seeing him do all he can to make sure Norah is going to be happy and cherished.

I loved that this book takes you on a an adventure across oceans of sand where Zodock and Norah not only have to find themselves and what direction their lives should go, but also save their entire world. No pressure right?

Seriously if you are looking for the perfect romantic fantasy adventure give this one a go! Her world she created is like none other I have read before and I enjoyed every single minute immensely. This is one where you will definitely already be counting down to book 2 like I am!
