Synopsis

When a human woman is taken from Earth and thrust into a dangerous alien conflict, she finds unexpected protection in a powerful Drakon warrior, an alien dragon shifter bound by duty, honor, and ancient instinct. Far from home and surrounded by enemies, she learns that humans are being stolen and exploited as part of a cruel trade that reaches across worlds.

Her protector is fierce, disciplined, and determined to keep her safe, but the bond forming between them is unlike anything either of them expected. What begins as survival slowly becomes trust, then affection, then a connection that feels dangerously close to fate. As their enemies close in, they must decide whether to resist the bond between them or embrace the strength it offers.

Together, they uncover the first pieces of a larger threat involving stolen humans, political danger, and the future of the Drakon people. Their love grows through loyalty, sacrifice, and emotional intimacy rather than explicit content. By the end of the story, their bond becomes a vow, setting the stage for the larger Dragons of Aeolia trilogy arc and the fight to end the human blood trade.
