Synopsis

She would have waited for him, but he broke her heart, and kept a huge secret. Now he’s home, and he wants a second chance.

Gabby has been in love with Heath since the summer after graduation. When he left for the Army, she’d been certain theirs was a love that would stand the test of time. She promised to be there for his mom in his absence, and even after he broke her heart and shattered her faith in love, she kept her promise.

Heath has loved Gabby for as long as he can remember. When she finds out the rumor that he fathered a baby with someone else, she breaks up with him before he gets the chance to explain. He knows he hurt her, but he felt had to protect a friend. Now he’s back and more determined than ever that Gabby knows the truth.
