my books are romance but they also deal with trauma. Book 1 has a kidnapping scene, child abuse, and a death from cancer. Book 2 has a significant traumatic experience for the FMC in which she is kidnapped and the victim of domestic violence. There is death (of the abuser) and the MMC is shot in the line of duty as well (he is a police officer).
