In “ON WINGS OF ASH AND DUST”: Loss of family members, themes of grief, battle scenes with some mention of blood but not graphic, pirates drinking rum, some discussions of being drunk (but not glorified), pixie dust can be used as a drug (but this stays very PG still, not glorified), I believe the only curse word is when the MC calls one of the villains a “bastard”
